Mentoring; Neurodivergence & Chronic illness

I have purposefully developed my support to allow for real flexibility. Your support should develop around you, not the other way around.
This is why we agree and plan the time-frame together, based on what you need and what feels manageable for you.
Every client has their own unique path. My aim is to support you along the way, building your support with you as we go.
Who do we support?
Neurodivergent children, young people, adults and families — including those who are exploring whether neurodivergence may be part of their experience.
Support is always shaped around the individual, their circumstances and what they need right now.
You might be trying to understand yourself after years of feeling that things were harder than they seemed to be for everyone else.
Perhaps you are navigating ADHD, autism or another neurodivergent profile, struggling with overwhelm, anxiety, relationships, communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs or simply trying to make everyday life work better.
We start with understanding — then work together to find what actually helps.
For young people, mentoring can provide a space to talk through the things that can become increasingly complicated as they grow.
This might include anxiety, social situations, changing friendships, sensory changes, emotional regulation, fear of vulnerability, or suddenly being expected to be “older” and more independent.
Sometimes asking for help becomes harder at this stage too. They may know something isn’t working but struggle to explain it, or feel uncomfortable being vulnerable with the adults around them.
Mentoring provides a space where they don’t have to have everything figured out. We can make sense of what’s happening together and find ways forward that feel manageable and genuinely theirs.
Online mentoring for young people is 12+ only.
I support children from around 7 years old, helping them make sense of emotions, sensory experiences, communication, behaviour and the things that can feel difficult or overwhelming.
Children don’t always have the words to explain what is happening for them. Sometimes their behaviour is their communication. Together, we can explore what may be sitting underneath those difficulties and find practical ways to make things feel more manageable.
Support can also help parents better understand what their child may be communicating and how they can support them at home.
Family support is available for families with children and young people from around age 4. It can be particularly helpful when communication has become difficult, misunderstandings are frequent, or everyone seems to be talking but nobody feels heard.
We can work on communication, interpretation and translation — helping family members understand what is being said, what may be meant, and what might be sitting underneath the words or behaviour.
This can be especially valuable during periods of change, including adolescence, when communication, independence, expectations and relationships can all shift.
Parent-only family support is also an option. Your child or young person doesn’t need to be involved in every session for us to work on understanding what’s happening and finding ways forward.
What can mentoring help with?
Understanding yourself and your neurodivergence
Executive functioning and getting things started
Overwhelm, burnout and capacity
Sensory needs and regulation Routines and everyday life
Confidence and self-advocacy Communication and relationships
Transitions and periods of change
Chronic illness alongside neurodivergence
Finding practical strategies that actually fit your life
This isn’t a checklist.
You don’t need to arrive knowing which of these applies to you. Sometimes the thing that looks like the problem isn’t actually where the difficulty starts.
That’s part of what we work out together.
How does mentoring work?
Connection Call – Free
A free 20-minute conversation to briefly understand what’s happening, what you’re looking for and whether working together feels like a good fit.
Understanding & Planning – 90mins – £65
If we decide to work together, we start here.
This is where you tell me what’s happening in your life, what feels difficult, what you want to change and what you need from support.
Your support is planned together – Mentoring starts at £175
There isn’t a programme you need to select beforehand.
For example, regular weekly support over 8 weeks starts from £525, while a slower pace of one session a month would start from £175 per month.
We agree what we’ll focus on, how we’ll work, how often we’ll meet.
The length, frequency and focus of your support can change as your circumstances change. We can review things together as we go.
Then we get started.
And importantly:
Your support can change as you do. If your circumstances, capacity or priorities change, we can review what we’re doing together.

Your brain and body don’t exist separately.
Neurodivergence, chronic illness, energy, sensory needs and everyday circumstances can all interact. Understanding those connections is part of how we work.

What’s included in your mentoring support?
Your mentoring support includes everything you need to stay connected between sessions and make the support work in your everyday life.
Your mentoring sessions
Regular 1-to-1 sessions focused on what is happening for you, what you want to work on and what will help you move forward.
Your client portal
Your own secure client portal where you can access your session notes, resources and activities, and keep track of the things we’re working on together.
Session notes
After each session, you’ll have notes capturing what we’ve explored and any useful points to take away. These give you something to return to between sessions without having to remember everything we talked about.
WhatsApp support
WhatsApp gives you a way to stay connected between sessions, whether you need to share something that’s come up, ask a question or get a little support when putting things into practice.
Email support
You can also contact me by email when you need to share something or communicate between sessions.
Pocket Positivity
Small, personalised reminders of the things that help, encourage or ground you — something you can come back to when you need it.
And flexibility throughout
Your support isn’t fixed once we start. We can review what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need as you go.
Everything is planned around you, so the frequency and combination of support can change as your circumstances, capacity and priorities change.
