Experience & who I work with

I bring over 13 years of personal and professional experience supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and adults, alongside families and support networks.

My work provides Neurodivergent Life Support with mentoring, focusing on practical, real-world understanding of neurodiversity, sensory needs, emotional regulation, anxiety, overwhelm, and behavioural expression. I support people across the lifespan, recognising that these experiences do not belong to childhood alone.

Working with individuals and families to understand what is happening beneath the surface, reduce day-to-day friction, and build approaches that are sustainable, respectful, and actually workable in real life.

two fingerprints in the shape of a heart, with the quote, the human brain is as diverse as the human fingerprint.

Support can include:

  • Neurodivergence across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood
  • Sensory processing differences and regulation needs
  • Anxiety, overwhelm, shutdowns, and demand avoidance patterns
  • Emotional regulation and behaviour support
  • Communication, relationships, and social understanding
  • Family dynamics and consistent support strategies across environments

My approach is grounded, strengths-based, and person-led. I don’t work from a “one-size-fits-all” model. Instead, I focus on what is going on for the individual in front of me and what needs to shift to make life feel more possible, more understandable, and less overwhelming.

Support is always shaped around the person — whether that is a child, a teenager, or an adult navigating their own neurodivergent experience.

Neurodiversity & Behaviour

  • Autism (including girls, anxiety, and demand-avoidant profiles)
  • ADHD across childhood and adolescence
  • Sensory processing differences
  • ARFID and Pica
  • Understanding behaviour as communication

I support families to identify underlying needs, reduce overwhelm, and implement realistic strategies that work in everyday life.

I help children and young people access communication and learning in ways that are adapted to their individual processing style.

Mental Health & Emotional Support

  • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
  • Attachment-based mentoring
  • Children and young people’s mental health
  • Self-regulation and emotional support strategies

They are fine here…..

Why do they always seem to be ‘fine’ at school? But when they are home it is a different story entirely!

I work with both children and families to build understanding, reduce anxiety, and create supportive, sustainable approaches.

Complex Needs & Medical Training

  • Epilepsy (including absence and drop seizures)
  • Diabetes management (including insulin, carb calculation, and pump use)
  • PEG / micky port care and catheterisation
  • Moving and handling

I am experienced in supporting children with complex and overlapping needs, ensuring care is safe, responsive, and integrated into daily life.

  • Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Qualifications in Autism, Mental Health, Behaviour that Challenges, and Specific Learning Difficulties
  • Ongoing CPD across autism, ADHD, sensory processing, communication, and complex needs
